Welcome to the Valley of Knowledge
In a world shaped by constant change, personal and professional development has become increasingly important. Yet within the dense jungle of technologies, tools and terminology, it is easy to lose direction or become overwhelmed by complexity. This is exactly where the course begins.
The self-paced online course introducing digital learning offers a clear path through the “Valley of Knowledge”. Along the way, you will move through a forest of concepts, follow a river of knowledge and eventually reach the “Mountain of Insight”. Across four learning modules, the course not only provides condensed knowledge about digital learning, but also the tools needed to make informed decisions and improve the quality of learning and development initiatives.
What’s included?
The online course “Introduction to Digital Learning” consists of four interactive learning modules with a total completion time of approximately three hours. Participants work through the content independently within a visually illustrated “comic-style” learning environment. Regular exercises and quiz questions encourage active participation and help reinforce the acquired knowledge.
After successful completion of the full course, participants receive a certificate that can also be added to LinkedIn. The certificate outlines the course content and acquired competencies. However, it is not a state-recognized or academic qualification and is not awarded based on an externally accredited quality standard.
To access the course, an internet-enabled device is required — ideally a desktop computer. The following system requirements apply:
Internet connection (minimum 16 Mbit/s)
Current desktop Browser (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
Or mobile devices using Google Chrome or Safari with JavaScript enabled
The learning modules are designed to be largely accessible in accordance with WCAG standards (AA, partially AAA). Further improvements are continuously being implemented.
